## What is an agent?
An agent is an AI tool, either a chatbot or a form, that is powered with a prompt. In addition to the prompt, you can power your agent with documents, websites, videos, special instructions, API endpoints, and more. ## What is a credit?
$1 credit equals $1 of usage cost. Every time the AI generates a response (i.e. you push the “submit” or “test” button to run your agent), you use your credits to pay for it. ## How do I embed an agent on my website?
After you've created an agent, you can embed it on a website by clicking on the agent in a Studio, then clicking the add embed button. You will be able to customize your embed in an Embed Customization screen and then copy and paste the embed code wherever you want to embed your agent. You can embed agents on Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Notion, Kajabi, WordPress, and any website that supports embeds. ## What is a Studio?
A Studio is a standalone AI web-app. It is a simple way to host and sell your agents to other people. Studios allow you to bundle tools, customize a page, manage users, and collect payments. ## Can I host a Studio at a custom domain?
Yes, you can host your Studio at a custom domain. Within a Studio click on the Settings tab.

## Can I train my agents on documents?
Yes, you can train your agents on documents, websites, and even videos by uploading them into the Knowledge Base. You can add knowledge to tools in the builder. ## Can I control who uses my agents?
Yes. You can change the privacy settings of your agents. When you put an agent into a Studio, you can set the Studio to either Public or Invite-Only. In Invite-Only Studios only approved email addresses can gain access.

## When people use my agent, are they using my credits?
Yes, when an end-user of your tool uses your agent, it counts against your credits.

## Can I monetize my agents?
Yes, you can monetize your agents through subscription fees when you put them in a [Studio](https://pickaxe.co/post/pickaxe-user-manual-how-to-do-everything-in-pickaxe). ## How can I make money with my AI tools?
Pickaxe offers a simple solution to sell monthly subscriptions for your agents. These subscriptions give users a certain amount of usage on your tools. You can set these prices and usage limits however you want, create multiple different paid tiers, and even put specific tools behind paywalls. ## Are there integrations?
